Downwinder SLS

Experience enhanced acceleration and quicker release for earlier take-offs, setting a new standard for Downwind Foiling and light wind Wing Foiling performance! Re-designed for 2025 by the Spencer brothers, Finn and Jeffrey, the new Downwinder SLS shapes are fine-tuned for enhanced glide and take-off efficiency, while maintaining relatively compact dimensions with exceptional stability - perfect for SUP Downwinders in smaller and steeper bumps or for light wind Wing Foiling. The shapes are two inches longer and half an inch narrower compared to the previous models, offering efficient glide and quick acceleration from learner to advanced Downwind enthusiast.

The Downwinder SLS features a low rocker and a sleek pin tail, ensuring the earliest take-off. The clean bottom contours with a single concave entry facilitate uninterrupted touchdowns, while the pronounced rail bevels with hard edges in the rear half of the board provide excellent release and stability. The slightly recessed deck enhances your connection to the foil and the new, longer carbon foil tracks provide adjustability for all types of foils while also saving weight.

The Downwinder SLS comes in three dedicated shapes: the compact 7’0’’ x 19.5’’ (95l), the versatile 7’6’’ x 20.5’’ (115l), and the stable 8’0’’ x 22’’ (135l).

Built with our lightweight Carbon Custom Sandwich technology, the Downwinder SLS combines stability for quick progression with dimensions perfect for SUP Downwinders in smaller bumps and Wing Foiling in lighter winds.

 Downwinder Slim SLS 

Designed for maximum efficiency and high-performance Downwind Foiling. The narrow outline offers incredible glide performance for faster, open ocean swells and allows the use of smaller and faster foils. With its instant acceleration in bigger bumps and uninterrupted touchdown speed, this board is the go-to for experienced performance seekers!

With a long, narrow outline, low rocker and a sleek pin tail, the Downwinder Slim SLS ensures acceleration and speed, both essential to paddle into fast rolling open ocean swell. The clean bottom contours with a single concave entry facilitate great recovery potential when touching down and the pronounced rail bevels with hard edges in the rear part of the board provide excellent release and stability.

A slightly recessed deck enhances a direct connection to the foil for increased control in turns, during higher speeds and while taking off. Duotone's new and longer Carbon foil tracks allow for more adjustability and an even lighter overall weight of the board.
